Semarang (ANTARA) - Sharia Digital Technology FZ LLC (SDT), PT Digital Syariah Teknologi (DST) - Surabaya, and GREEN-X Digital Asset Exchange Syariah (DAES) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which took place at DFF Auditorium, Area 2071, Emirates Tower in Dubai. The MOU is a strategic collaboration aimed at technology transfer and the establishment of a Shariah-compliant digital asset exchange.

The event started with guest arrival, registration, and coffee break, followed by an exclusive tour of Area 2071, Emirates Tower. Attendees gained insight into an innovative ecosystem dedicated to driving future technologies. The official proceedings began at 11:00 am in the Auditorium, with a welcome by the Master of Ceremonies.

During the event, key representatives gave speeches including Sharia Digital Technology CEO Khalifa AlJaziri AlShehhi who emphasised the importance of this partnership in driving Sharia-compliant digital innovation.

PT Digital Syariah Teknologi Director Hambali spoke about the importance of this collaboration for Indonesia and the Islamic finance sector more broadly; C K Lee, CEO of GreenPro Capital shared his views on the importance of this strategic alliance for financial technology.

Phillip Tam, representing GREEN-X Digital Asset Exchange Sharia highlighted GREEN-X's role as the premier platform for Sharia compliant crypto exchange operations; and Maawiiyah Tucker gave an in-depth explanation of Sharia Crypto, explaining its adherence to Islamic finance principles.

The MOU signing ceremony was witnessed by guests including Husin Bagis, Indonesian Ambassador to the UAE; Consul General Denny Lesmana, Indonesian Consul General to Dubai; officials from the UAE Ministry of Economy; CK Lee, Owner of GreenPro Capital Nasdaq; Muhammad Hasan Ubaidilah, Secretary of MUI East Java; and Kasiadi Marzuki Kompol, Treasurer of MUI East Java.

The agreement sets out Sharia Digital Technology FZ LLC's commitment to transfer critical technology, knowledge and expertise to PT Digital Sharia Technology. The collaboration involves using GREEN-X Sharia Digital Asset Exchange as the main platform for crypto exchange operations, ensuring compliance with Sharia principles.

Technology transfer includes software, tools, documentation and training required for the operation of a Shariah-compliant digital asset exchange. Ongoing technical support will be provided during the initial implementation phase which is expected to last for 12 months.

All parties have agreed to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information exchanged during this collaboration. The agreement is governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia, reflecting the international scope of the partnership.

The event concluded with a VIP tour of the Museum of the Future which gave attendees an overview of the advancements shaping the future of technology.
